Granville Inn to celebrate restoration on May 21
Columbus Dispatch

The Granville Inn, emerging from a $9 million restoration effort, will reopen the hotel and restaurant for business on May 8, and it will celebrate its new life with a party on May 21.

Now owned by Denison University, the more than 90-year-old inn will look much the same, but with a host of modern amenities, including a new elevator, heating and cooling systems, and fire alarms and sprinklers.

The restoration also added nine guest rooms in the back of the building.

The university bought the inn out of receivership in 2013 and has spent much of the time since then gutting and putting the building back together.
